Held as part of nationwide National Dance Week celebrations, the festival will be held at a variety of venues throughout New York City.

National Dance Week-NYC celebrates the joy and diversity of dance in the NYC community with an exhilarating 10-day festival of FREE dance/fitness classes at noted studios in New York City.

Who Will Attend

From the past few years, hundreds of dance enthusiasts participated in events ranging from Latin, ballroom, tap, ballet, swing, hip-hop–even classes for kids and aerial acrobatics.

National Dance Week-NYC is produced by FitEngine Magazine and continues to grow in popularity. It is covered in several local media outlets and has been recognized by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Borough Presidents Adolfo Carrion, Jr. (Bronx), Marty Markowitz (Brooklyn) and C. Virginia Fields (Manhattan).

National Dance Week-NYC believes that dance contributes to the well-being of both the individuals who watch and perform it and to the community at-large.
